This was a great tour. Our guide had a wealth of information. I had a whole new perspective when I toured Williamsburg the next morning. Plus, this tour is a great deal--$10 for a two tour.

My husband and I just returned from a visit over the 4th of July holiday. We always make a point to go on ghost tours in the places we visit, and we knew with Williamsburg's history, it wouldn't disappoint. We were on Tom's tour on 3 July, and were immediately intrigued by the Peyton Randolph house. Instead of walking back to the bookstore to finish the tour, we stayed behind the group and did some more looking around on our own. We captured several pictures with this same face in the downstairs far left window, but this was the clearest. After hearing knocking coming from the inside of the front door and a loud crash upstairs in the dark, empty house, we agreed something was telling us we had overstayed our welcome and left it be. We will certainly return for another 'encounter' in the future.

I just had to share this with you, I took this picture of my husband and daughter as we were passing the plantation going back to the visitors center. I guess sometimes you can catch things when you least expect them.

This is one of the most amazing pictures I have ever seen in CW in all my years as a tour guide. This pic was taken on Gayden's tour on Thanksgiving night of 2009. His guests that night showed it to both of us on their camera and Gayden asked them to email it to him and luckily they did. I thought it would be a wonderful addition to our web site because it was taken in front of the Peyton Randolph House and the apparition is the most vivid I have ever witnessed. It truly looks to me like the woman with the wringing hands from the oak paneled bedroom........
